Key Responsibilities
• Programming & Configuration:
• Develop, test, and implement PLC programs using Omron platforms (e.g., CX-Programmer, Sysmac Studio).
• Configure PLCs, HMIs, and other control devices to optimize system performance.
• System Design & Documentation:
• Design control logic based on project requirements, process flow diagrams, and P&IDs.
• Create and maintain electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control documentation.
• Troubleshooting & Maintenance:
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues in PLC hardware and software.
• Perform routine system checks and preventive maintenance to reduce downtime.
• Collaboration & Support:
• Work closely with mechanical and electrical engineers, operations, and maintenance teams to ensure effective integration of automated solutions.
• Provide technical support and training on PLC systems to internal teams as needed.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Identify opportunities to enhance process efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall reliability.
• Stay updated on the latest developments in Omron automation technologies and best practices.
