Remuneration:

  • EUR 2600 – 5500/month

Hybrid work with casual on-site presence in office located in Bratislava.

Job description

Core Technical Responsibilities:

  • Short-Circuit Current Calculations: Perform detailed short-circuit current analysis and define equipment ratings to ensure reliability and compliance with industry standards.
  • Protection Studies: Conduct LV protection discrimination studies and MV protection setting studies to optimize system performance and safety.
  • Cable and Transformer Calculations: Calculate cable ampacity and size cables effectively; analyze inrush currents for transformers, ensuring seamless operation under load.
  • Power Quality and Load Flow Analysis: Execute P/Q calculations, basic load flows, and assess the inrush impact on transformers for stable power delivery.
  • Harmonic Analysis and Filter Sizing: Evaluate harmonic distortion levels and design harmonic filters tailored to specific site requirements.
  • Circuit Breaker and Fuse Sizing: Determine appropriate sizing for circuit breakers and fuses to maintain operational safety.
  • Auxiliary Power and Instrument Transformer Calculations: Calculate auxiliary battery supply requirements and perform CT/VT calculations for precise measurement and protection.

Commercial Responsibilities:

  • Customer Engagement: Collaborate with the team to engage in client meetings, identify and address technical requirements, secure approvals, and negotiate variations in project scope.
  • Quotation Development: Develop and maintain quotation tools to streamline calculation/study processes and deliver accurate pricing for clients.
  • Profitability Management: Monitor and enhance the profitability of engineering calculations and studies by optimizing the use of software and engineering resources.

Requirements:

  • Successfully completed studies in the field of Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in electrical design
  • Knowledge of English at level B2 or higher.
  • Experience with ETAP – Skillful
  • Strong customer focus.
  • Experience in an international environment.
  • Willingness to travel on short missions from time to time.
